Chufeng (Beza) Jiang

My name is Chufeng Jiang (蒋楚枫), the pronunciation is [tʃu:fɛŋ]-[dʒɑːŋ]. I will be happy if you call me “Beza“(በዛ), the pronunciation is [beɪ za], an Ethiopian Christian name chosen by my colleagues, which means “good luck” and “the gift from the God”. I love this name so much because I am always on a lucky streak!

I am CS PhD Candidate at Graduate Center, The City University of New York, where I am co-advised by Dr. Feng Gu (CUNY) and Dr. Defu Cao (USC). I’m into a few exciting research areas:

1. ML Systems and LLM Inference — efficient inference, GPU acceleration, and systems optimization for LLMs;

2. LLM and Agentic Systems — reliability, evaluation, and safety of autonomous AI agents
