    My name is Chufeng Jiang (蒋楚枫), the pronunciation is [tʃu:fɛŋ]-[dʒɑːŋ]. I will be happy if you call me “Beza“(በዛ), the pronunciation is [beɪ za], an Ethiopian Christian name chosen by my colleagues, which means “good luck” and “the gift from the God”. I love this name so much because I am always on a lucky streak!

    I am a 2nd year CS PhD student at The City University of New York, where I am advised by Dr. Neng-Fa Zhou. Concurrently, I am also pursuing an MS in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin.

    I am actively seeking a 2026 Summer Software Engineering Internship, or Research Internship to apply my skills and engage in cutting-edge industry projects and deepen my understanding of the latest technological advancements. I am wishing to leverage my academic knowledge and hands-on experience to contribute to innovative solutions and drive impactful results.

    My research interests lie in:

  • 2.Deep Learning;
  • 3.Compilers for High-Level Languages.

    I obtained my Master of Science in Computer Science (Bridge Program) in 2022 from University of Birmingham (Dubai), co-advised by Dr. Mian M. Hamayun and Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim. I received my Second Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology in 2023 from Nankai University, advised by Dr. Haiwei Zhang.

    In addition, I am awarded an MBA degree in 2024 from San Francisco Bay University, advised by Dr. Flora Chu, and completed my Bachelor of Management in Accounting (ACCA) in 2017 from Hunan University, advised by Dr. Yanyan Jiang along with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting in 2019 from Oxford Brookes University, mentored by Ms. Ying Ju (ICF ACC Coach).

    During 2017.07 - 2020.10, I worked for different China Foreign Infrastructure Aid Projects in Africa countries such as Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, where I participated in the construction of Railways, Airports, Hospitals, and other facilities.
